Story 1:
Jack Frost bit your feet and fingers. You almost could feel nothing even when you moved them. In that cold silence that surrounded you for about near three hours, a sudden jingle of coins broke the silence. The coins jingled. The coins gave a loud resounding clang as it drop and hit the nearby coins. That sound of money dropping almost sounded foreign to you. With much effort, you clasped your frozen fingers together and gave an appreciative smile, and tried to managed the loudest “ThankYou” that you can. Silence followed afterwards. That stranger left without giving a word of mention. You’re alone in the silence again. Your thoughts began to spin wildly as you thought of the new finance you have received. Your stomach feels assured after knowing that tonight you’ll not miss another meal. Perhaps you have enough to buy that steaming hot potatoes that drives your stomach mad as the aroma aroused the senses in your nose. Perhaps, the warmth in the food will removed the cold you have been trapped in for the past few hours.. A sudden strum of strings, your ears perked up. A melodious song followed afterwards.. “Cause you’re amazing, just the way you are.. “ You can feel your tears slowly trickling down your cheeks, and your mouth splitting into a wide smile on your face. “Thankyou,..” was all that you can managed as you controlled your tears. A voice finally made its entrance, “ Your Welcome, Happy Holidays!” Your heart melted in the cold. Story 2: The rustle of the leaves as you paced your way into the forest. The red-orange autumn leaves glisten under the golden sun. Your frequent walks to the woodland was always full of surprises. Last week you found a huge acorn tree hidden behind a few trunks of pine trees. The week before, you found a golden yellow thin snake nestled and all coiled up hidden in a layer of brown dried leaves, looking very comfortable. Today, you are anticipating what this magical forest has to surprise you. You decided to try a new road along the fork and take the smallest and most narrow path. You tried to wriggle your way through the thick bushes, and unfortunately getting red streaks of cuts on your hands. Finally, at the other end of the path, you were disappointed to find ten over little hills that poked out from the Earth. It looks revolting. Just when you wanted to take your leave, a mole suddenly popped out from the burrow. You got excited as you witnessed its pink little nose danced in the air, as the mole tries to take a whiff to survey the surrounding for danger. Its tiny little paws hurried its way as it paces its way along the dirt. You set your eyes on this tiny black creature as it made its way around the area. The mole was constantly whiffing on the ground, as if it was finding something.. Suddenly, it stopped. The mole took a large breath before attacking the dirt. Specks of brown dirt flew to the air as the mole fervently dug its way down. The digging seems almost never ending.. Until the mole suddenly lifted its head high up. Clasped between its mouth lies a long writhing worm. The mole seems to be glowing with pride, as if the worm was its prize. almost instantaneously, it hurried back to its same old burrow and pop back into the hole. You paced your way back, out of the forest. The forests seems to rustle GoodBye to you as a sudden gush of wind took place. You smiled to the forest and anticipating the next time you enter this forest(:
