As a celebration for my granny's birthday, we went to eat at a restaurant called Empress Jade. I don't have the photos as it is with my dad, but is okay, because what's better comes next :PP
Anyway, the food were so-so. Some were rather disappointing like the abalone mushroom. I feel like eating edible gum -.-
Okay, it's not horrible, just disappointing especially the name of the restaurant is so contradicted to the quality of food. The fried rice was the same. Rather plain, it has quite an ordinary taste tooo. I'm most impressed with its noodles, or fried mee sua.
I think the soya sauce used or whatsoever so has a rather distinct and special taste which improves the whole taste of the meal. It's really good except rather salty. I looked forward to that the most? I got a small taste of their mango.. something. Don't quite recall their name, neither do I know how to translate. It's rather cool. It's like mango milkshake.. with no milk..
Haha! It has bits of aloe vera, mango and even grapefruit. Rather interesting.
We surprised granny with Shou Tao... I don't know how to translate this. Longetivity Bun? Haha! Anyway, I don't quite believe they made this. It's tastes rather ordinary like those bought in NTUC. I'm rather disappointed but it is covered up by the "High-ness" in us (:
Overall, the ambiance was rather awesosme. You can have a great view of the city at one side and a great view of Mount Faber at another. The shape of the restaurant also reminds me of the Singapore Flyer..
Overall, check it out if you feel like splurging on some great views.

Then, granny wanted to treat us. So my aunt suggested "The Daily Scoop"
It's really awesome. I mean, we were like bloated from lunch, but that soft creamy icecream just opened up another room in my stomach. You have to look at it and stimulate the secretion of your saliva. It's absolute moth watering... (:
Durian flavoured ice-cream.It tastes really like eating cold soft durian.
It even have bits of durian flesh..which was bitter T.T
Nevertheless, it was delicious with the sweet soft ice-cream.
It's a must-try for all Durian lovers, like me (:
It's a tropical treat for such a steamy weather and really cools you off (:
I rate it like... 6/5! (:

You know those with Kaya, chocolate spread?
The crust is crispy and the inside is really soft with a slightest hint of warmness as you chew on it
The hazelnut ice-cream reminds me why I love hazelnut so much.
It has a nutty taste with the strong taste of the aroma of hazelnut choking your nose (:

The brown ice-cream is the same except the white is macadamia (:
